We have expanded our mortgage offering with the acquisition of Lemon Tree Financial’s client book

We have recently acquired the client portfolio of Lemon Tree Financial, whose founders are retiring after more than 30 years in the market. The deal brings across a large base of long-standing clients, including property investors, portfolio landlords, and homeowners with more complex borrowing needs.

In the year to 31 March 2026, Lemon Tree arranged £94.7m in loans across 368 mortgage applications for around 250 clients, split 55% buy-to-let and 45% residential. This acquisition represents another step in our growth, strengthening both our mortgage advisory capability and position in specialist lending. Lemon Tree Financial, founded by Mitul and Geeta Patel, has built a strong reputation for long-term, relationship-led advice, holding a 5.0 rating from more than 200 verified client reviews.

The acquisition strengthens our position in specialist lending, particularly across buy-to-let, refinancing and cases involving multiple income streams, as demand grows for more tailored mortgage solutions. Expanding our capabilities and reach among clients requiring more bespoke, hand-on support.
