An experienced property investor approached us after acquiring a distressed property firm with a property portfolio worth £35 million with over 40 UK assets. Christian Artimadis, Senior Associate at Karis Capital, led the deal, navigating complex legal and financial challenges, as the portfolio was encumbered by a £21 million loan.

We secured a competitive acquisition price, worked with lenders to fund the portfolio’s true value, restructured the company to reduce tax exposure, and settled historic debts. We also arranged a £22 million facility at 2.6% above base. Post-completion, the client refurbished the residential units, now being transitioned to social housing for stable, increased income.
